The City of Chamalières has been committed to contemporary art for many years. The exhibitions presented at the Municipal Gallery of Contemporary Art, with the help of the AMAC, are always awaited and publicized, and the Triennale Mondiale de l'Estampe is a major event in the cultural landscape of the region. New to come: a cultural center will bring a new dynamism to the city, with in particular an art library which will allow to develop the contemporary art collection of Chamalières.
