Built in the 19th century, the Château Bouchet de Fareins, now owned by the commune, hosts a number of cultural events, including the ArtFareins Biennial for contemporary sculpture. It is located just a few hundred meters from the birthplace of Etienne Carjat, the famous caricaturist and photographer of the second half of the 19th century, and the starting point for the September-October 2024 exhibition "From Caricature to Photography".
