ANGLE

A contemporary art space located in Saint-Paul-trois-châteaux in Drôme Provençale, ANGLE has hosted temporary, individual or collective exhibitions since 1983. This associative place (non-profit association under the 1901 French law) is marked by a desire for experimentation and shared experiences with the public in a consistent programming manner. 5 exhibitions punctuate the year at this venue, which strives to show the work of established artists as well as emerging creation. Angle supports artists in the production of new works and encourages them to create site-specific works. Angle pays particular attention to the dissemination and mediation of contemporary art through meetings, conferences, educational workshops, residencies, and even editorial projects. It is an open place, allowing the public an uninhibited encounter with the diversity of artistic approaches. It is also a place promoting sharing and exchange based on the works exhibited.

The art space leads numerous local, national, and international partnerships by participating, for example, in the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale, by producing exhibitions in co-production with the Villeurbanne / Rhône-Alpes Contemporary Art Institute or by welcoming foreign artists in residence.
