After a five-month residency at Gadagne, LISA DUROUX AND GUILLAUME PEREZ two artists from Lyon are exhibiting their work, created to reflect one of the Vieux Lyon area's emblematic monuments.
From September 21, 2024, the architecture of the Gadagne monument will be showcased through a new exhibition space “Gadagne. A monument and its history” and a creative arts residency.
From April to September, the artists in residence explored the monument, its architecture and its history, bringing their own unique and contemporary perspectives to bear on it.
At the end of their residency, Gadagne invited them to create an installation of original works in the monument's “remarkable rooms”, which bear witness to the building's various occupancies, particularly in the 16th and 17th centuries.
