In France, few theatres are custodians of an architectural and artistic heritage as rich as that of the TNP. This story is now combined with a state-of-the-art tool, inhabited by qualified personnel, bringing together all the trades of the live performance. Since 2020, it has been directed by director Jean Bellorini.
Among his various missions, Jean Bellorini pays particular attention to the essential question of creation. The TNP, as a national drama centre and creative house, takes on several faces: the presence, in the immediate vicinity of the theatre, of two sets and costumes workshops; a desire to bring the shows created at the NPT to life by organizing tours; support for creation within the walls, with the reception of companies prior to the first performances; a buddy system to support the artistic emergence and all the promises it carries.
