The Musée urbain Tony Garnier is an unique associative museum whose aim is to promote the work of the great architect Tony Garnier at local, regional and national level, and more broadly, to raise awareness of the history of 20th century architecture and its development. Located in the heart of the Etats-Unis district (Lyon 8), a district conceived and designed by Tony Garnier, the Museum is committed to spreading the architect's humanist message to a wide range of audiences. Its activities are divided into three main areas:

  • cultural mediation around Tony Garnier's work, the painted walls, and more generally, around architecture, housing and urbanism ;
  • the organization of cultural, educational and scientific events: exhibitions, conferences, debates, symposia, meetings, etc. ;
  • the design and organization of events for all local audiences, in partnership with local organizations.
