Since 2014, the Showroom Galerie 7 has been exhibit and promote antique and comtemporary textile know-how from the five continents.
Ideally located at 7 place Gailleton - a district of antique dealers and gallery owners, near the Musée des Tissus - it focuses as much on promoting textile design schools (La Martinière Diderot, ENSATT ) as on presenting exceptional French and international know-how (Odon, Françoise Ferreux, antique textiles from Japan...).
The galery is managed by international project leaders (Philippines, Madagascar), organisers of the International Festival of Extra Ordinary Textiles (FITE). This event is held in France in even years and internationally in odd years (Vietnam (2013), Philippines (2015), Mexico (2017), Romania (2019), Senegal (2021)); and creators of the Extra Ordinary Textiles Foundation (FTEO) hosted by the Bullukian Foundation.

Deeply conceived and experienced as an international meeting point, the Showroom Galerie 7 is involved in major events such as the Contemporary Art Lyon Biennale or the Saisons Croisées of the French Institute to offer a renewed and contemporary textile vision.
