Philosopher, journalist, singer-songwriter and performer with the group La Féline, Agnès Gayraud explores the
aesthetic and ethical issues involved in expressing feelings of love, both in her songs and in her lyrics. Drawing
on literary history
— Ovid's Art of Love and the Courtly Love of the troubadour poets — and feminist theories,
her philosophical and artistic work on love songs seeks to establish the conditions required for true generosity
of feeling.
