In 2024, Galerie Tator celebrates its 30th anniversary. A multi-sensory and participatory program is proposed through 5 exhibitions calling on the 5 senses. After smell, taste, hearing and sight, all that's missing is touch to complete this exploration of the senses. Théophile Péris proposes to transform Tator's spaces into a veritable cocoon of scent, haptics and touch.

"Close your eyes, dream, to feel the material. In contact with wool, we feel a peaceful animal presence, we see the sheepfold in winter, lambs sleeping in the straw in spring, or ewes eating clean summer grass in a mountain pasture. Felt is used to create an enveloping, warm, welcoming and restorative space. The Tator gallery becomes a place to rest, relax or play. The walls of the spaces are covered with padded felts, washed and carded wool. Partitions become supports for heavy, sound-isolating felts. The whole is populated with drawings and motifs that invite viewers to contemplate, but also to physically apprehend the material through touch." Théophile Péris
