The Phénix Hôtel welcomes Carine Figueras and Chez Andy; together, we want to embody the spirit of the Lyon Biennale 2024, an emotionally rich artistic and human experience, where the voices of rivers meet those of artists, venues and art lovers; discovering, discovering each other, enabling, weaving together, with each other.
In the magic of river voices, Carine Figueras creates a poetic installation, playing with precious Lyon silk and gems color. She invites visitors, guests and friends to let themselves be carried away by this parallel world, imbued with movement as well as smoothness. Like waves, her works evoke the fluidity and movement of water, capturing the very essence of the rivers that inspire them.
Chez Andy, a personal shopper for aspiring and seasoned art lovers alike, is committed to revealing artists who are too rarely seen and to promoting sensitive emerging art through an innovative approach, creating bridges between the art world and those who feel excluded from it, offering them the chance to experience the joy of discovery and beauty.
In full resonance with the historic site of the Phenix Hôtel, on the banks of the Saône, the cradle of Lyon, the work can be discovered as a journey through its intimate salons. Nestled at its heart, the winter garden with its art deco glass roof forms a calm focal point, where intimacy and reverie meet.
