What makes these connections beautiful? What draws us closer to a person, and what distances us from them? Human encounters are many life paths that intersect and then diverge. Nevertheless, the event of a meeting, however fleeting, creates a knot, and this knot, combined with all the others, forms an immense, complex web of interdependent relationships. This is what remains for us: the trace we keep of each person who has crossed our path. A brushing, a friction, a sliding between our threads. Some cling, some stick, and some detach.
