End of residency presentation and visit with artist Jeanne Vrastor at Moly-Sabata - Fondation Albert Gleizes in collaboration with monopôle, December 6th and 7th.

After a one-month residency, artist Jeanne Vrastor will present her research and works during an open studio at Moly-Sabata. A visit in presence of the artist will take place on December 6 and 7, with free access from 2 PM to 6 PM. Other visits can be arranged by appointment.

Each year, Moly-Sabata - Fondation Albert Gleizes invites a young organization from the region to propose an artist for a one-month residency. This year, monopôle invited artist Jeanne Vrastor for this residency, which will result in an exhibition in January 2025 at monopôle.

Through her sculptures and installations, Jeanne Vrastor explores how the sensory organizes and produces reality. She creates assemblages that arrange body memories, affects, intimate mythologies, and evolving connections between Humainæs and More-than-Humainæs.

During this month-long residency, Jeanne Vrastor will focus on the knowledge, gestures, and forms generated and transmitted through basket-making practices. Her work will delve into the production of bodies through everyday and technical gestures, interacting with the minerals, plants, and other living beings that constitute the territory. This research will develop into a body of work produced, in part, from a biomaterial created on-site with the More-than-Humanæs.
