Self-narratives and the experience of reciprocity are at the heart of Carla Adra’s practice. Through collective performative experiences, it organizes moments of encounters, in which she leaves her voice to the other and tries to make a word audible often disqualified.
Interested in psychoanalysis, anthropology and alternative pedagogies, Carla Adra offers spaces-times for meeting and sharing: conversations and participatory workshops are organized according to precise protocols. In the public space or within structures, she collects words in exchange for a lived story, she proposes to move the point of enunciation, to take on a personal story as we put on the clothing of the other, making individual testimonies resonate with shared experiences.
