Michel Mouffe at La Tourette

Forty years after his stay at the Maison Guiette - Le Corbusier's youthful work - Michel Mouffe returns to the architect with a stay at the Convent of La Tourette - his mature work. Between these two buildings, Le Corbusier's architecture focused on the essential. Between the two stays in these Corbusier spaces, and between his two exhibitions in 1983 and 2024, Michel Mouffe's work also focused on the essential: light, silence, the inner and spiritual quest.

It's a great opportunity and a pleasure to welcome Michel Mouffe back to a building built by Le Corbusier. For the next few months, the convent will host his works, inviting us to let ourselves be won over by the silence of each of them, to contemplate the vibrations of color, to enter into a chromatic and even meditative stroll, and to be touched by the profound poetry that emanates from these chromatic "landscapes".
