MLG invites us into the weaving of worlds. Her latest show is an immersive experience of wonderful and joyous strangeness composed of suspended sculptures and other organism-creatures, all Life-inspired. Organic soundscapes in collusion by Vincent Duc.
MLG comes from a performance arts’ background and now uses various media to create intensified life-scapes. This show is a vast installation of sculptures, partially suspended - delicate balance and motion in subtle sound forms. Torn, painted, the textile core is entangled in coloured thread and we are presented with strange yet familiar polymorphic shapes which invite us to see beyond. Colour and sound, energy fields in motion, remind us of the interconnectedness of Life and its perpetual quest for balance, with humanity as an integral part of the thread. From November 13 to 24 Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. OPENING Tuesday, November 12 at 6 p.m.
