An exhibition in resonance with the theme of this year's Biennial: Welcome and Hospitality. Ailleurs Ici Partout is an exhibition based on the last poem by the French poet Paul Eluard, through which you can discover the commitment and work of three artists: Niloufar BASIRI, Ghazale BAHIRAIE and Abdul SABOOR.
"Nothing will ever be in vain...", the last line of Paul Éluard's poem, speaks of the universal hope that runs through the history of humanity. And it is under the evocative title of the poem, "Elsewhere Here Everywhere" that the city of Brignais resonates with the 17th edition of the Lyon Biennial of Contemporary Art, "Crossing the Waters". This year's event will focus on the terms welcome and hospitality, with singular voices telling stories of exchanges and encounters, stories that are born and consolidated between people and their environment. The singular voices of Niloufar Basiri, Ghazale Bahiraie and Abdul Saboor. To shed further light on the exhibition, we have designed a space around three words that respond to each other and outline a journey, a story: Territories, Exchanges, Encounters. We invite you to explore this multi-disciplinary territory, where frontiers give way to the riches of the imagination. With the hope that these three perspectives on difference will unfold their fraternal and reconciling weft "Elsewhere, here and everywhere".
