A wind of change blows through the 16th Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale due to its two new curators Sam Bardaouil and Till Fellrath. Main goal seems to make contemporary art more accessible, more inclusive to all audiences its supposed to be address to. NörKa's gallery team is convinced that art is one of the most powerful path to exchange, to share with other human being.
Therefore we wanted our upcoming exhibition named "Dialogue/ s” (starting from September 7 to October 15, 2022) resonate strongly with this new state of mind. Just the once will not hurt: this exhibition is going to gather 4 different artists who all have already exhibit their works at the gallery: Pauline Souchaud, Robinson Haas, Julien Meilland and NörKa. Through 4 projects specifically developed for this occasion, NörKa's Gallery will propose its visitors to see and even to buy the fulfillment of 4 artistic visions, each one built on the theme of "Manifesto of Fragility ».
We know that this genuin dialogue with our visitors, cleared of all words, commited and easy to reach at the same time, that we strive to keep alive all days long , is necessarily frigile and need to be continusly maintained and renewed. The gallery team welcomes you every week from Wednesday to Saturday from 2.30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at 35 rue Burdeau Lyon 1er so don't hesitate to stop by and chat with us!
